We’re looking for a driven, analytical, and detail-oriented finance professional to serve as our first Controller. In this role, you’ll lead a small team and support our operational and financial goals, ensuring a strong financial foundation to enable rapid growth. You’re a self-starter who is willing to “roll up their sleeves” to implement accounting policies, oversee close efforts, and improve reporting. You’ll have the opportunity to work across all functions of the business and have a major voice in
how we scale the company.

● Build KPI targets and manage performance against them to provide operational insights into
the business and serve as a key advisor to the executive team
● Develop and prepare the monthly financial reporting pack for company leadership and the
Board of Directors
● Establish and maintain accounting policies, processes and procedures, including monthly
close, general ledger management, expenses, etc.
● Design, implement and maintain effective internal controls
● Transition financials to GAAP standards
● Evaluate and implement a scalable accounting system, as appropriate
● Manage the external auditor relationship and manage the annual audit
● Work closely with client partners to ensure collections/payment timelines are being met
● 5+ years of accounting experience with 1-3 years at a Big 4 accounting firm and previous experience as a controller at a startup with <100 FTEs
● Comprehensive understanding of financial accounting and reporting under US GAAP and SEC requirements; understanding of general finance, tax and operations compliance requirements
● Experience managing and/or collaborating closely with a globally distributed team
● Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
● CPA required
● Heavily detail-oriented and analytical
