What do you love about working as a Nurse Practitioner?
I enjoy working in health care because of the opportunity to help others. I believe that holistic care is essential to improving outcomes and that health care has a responsibility to provide patient-centered care.
What career advice will you give to the new and aspiring clinicians in your field?
Tips for a successful nursing career by Latrice:
I would advise anyone new to health care to try to gain a variety of experiences. Not only does gaining a wide range of experience offer an increased range of future opportunities, but it is also helpful in determining likes and dislikes, which will hopefully ensure landing a role that is enjoyed.
What was the best part of being associated with DirectShifts?
DirectShifts has been a wonderful resource to locate job opportunities. The staff is very responsive, especially Priyanka Agarwal, who not only assisted in locating a position and onboarding but is also an excellent support who routinely offers updates and ensures that any role meets the agreed terms and expectations.
