Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if my license count changes mid-term?

If you add licenses that push you into the next tier, we'll notify you before making any change — your new rate starts at your next billing cycle, never back-billed. If your count drops, your current rate holds through the end of your 12-month term.

Can I cancel before the 12 months are up?

Membership plans are billed monthly against a 12-month term, and early cancellation isn't available since we build your renewal calendar around the full year. If your circumstances change — a new state, a career move, retirement — reach out to your specialist and we'll work out the right transition, including pausing renewals already in progress.

What happens at the end of the 12 months?

Your membership renews automatically at your current tier unless you cancel or change plans before your renewal date. We'll email you at least 30 days out so there are no surprises.

Are state board fees and fingerprinting really separate from my monthly price?

Yes. Your membership covers the service fee — tracking, filing, CME matching, and specialist support. State board fees, fingerprinting, and exam fees are set by each state and billed separately at cost, the same as with Pay-As-You-Go.

What if I need a license in a state I'm not yet licensed in?

New state license applications are handled as a separate service from renewals. Membership holders get 25% off new application fees, and once that license is active, it's added to your renewal count going forward.

What if my license count drops below 10 mid-term?

Your rate and tier stay the same through the end of your current 12-month term. At renewal, we'll right-size your plan — including moving you to Pay-As-You-Go if that fits your practice better.

What happens if a renewal is denied or delayed by the board?

We file 90 to 120 days before expiration specifically to leave room for this. If a board flags a deficiency or delays processing, your specialist responds on your behalf and keeps you updated — you're not left tracking the board portal yourself.
