The DirectShifts Referral Program (“Program”) is open to individuals who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
Participants in the Program (“Referrers”) must be registered users of DirectShifts or a verified healthcare professional.
Referrers must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws when participating in the Program.
A “Qualified Referral” is defined as a healthcare professional who:
Has never previously registered with DirectShifts or applied for a position through DirectShifts in the past 12 months.
Meets all eligibility and qualification requirements for available positions at DirectShifts.
Is successfully placed in an assignment through DirectShifts and completes the required duration as determined by DirectShifts.
Referrers are eligible to receive a referral bonus of up to $1,000 for each Qualified Referral who completes the required assignment duration.
The bonus amount may vary based on the referred candidate's qualifications and job role.
DirectShifts will determine the referral bonus and communicate it to the Referrer when the referred candidate is successfully placed.
Bonuses are processed on a monthly basis and will be paid during the first week of the month following the referred candidate’s completion of the required work period.
There is no limit to the number of referrals a participant can make.
Referrers can submit referrals using two methods:
1. Through a Unique Referral Link – DirectShifts provides a unique referral link for Referrers to share. The referred candidate must register using this link for the referral to be valid.
2. Direct Submission – Referrers may also submit the referred candidate’s contact details (name, email, phone number, specialty, and resume if available) directly to DirectShifts via the referral form.
DirectShifts will track referrals through unique links or manual submissions to ensure proper attribution.
The referred healthcare professional must be successfully placed in a role and complete the required assignment duration for the Referrer to qualify for a bonus.
Only one referral bonus will be paid per referred candidate. If multiple individuals refer the same candidate, the bonus will be awarded to the first person who submitted the referral.
Self-referrals are not allowed. Participants cannot refer themselves for an assignment.
DirectShifts employees, recruiters, and anyone directly involved in the hiring process are not eligible to participate in this Program.
Referral bonuses cannot be transferred, exchanged, or substituted for other benefits.
DirectShifts reserves the right to disqualify referrals that do not meet the outlined criteria or that violate these Terms and Conditions.
DirectShifts reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Referral Program at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
Any changes to the Program will be effective immediately and updated on the DirectShifts website.
Referral bonuses will only be paid for Qualified Referrals made prior to the date of termination or modification.
Referral bonuses may be subject to tax withholding and IRS reporting.
Referrers are responsible for reporting and paying any applicable federal, state, or local taxes on the referral bonuses they receive.
DirectShifts may require a W-9 form or other tax-related documentation before issuing referral payments.
Participants in the Referral Program must comply with all applicable laws, including anti-kickback and referral fee regulations.
Healthcare professionals should not engage in referrals that create a conflict of interest or violate their employer’s policies.
DirectShifts reserves the right to reject or void any referral that appears to violate legal or ethical standards.
By participating in the Referral Program, Referrers agree to these Terms and Conditions and understand that all decisions made by DirectShifts regarding referrals and payouts are final.
DirectShifts is not responsible for technical issues, lost submissions, or system errors that impact the referral process.
This Program is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Clinicians refer a healthcare facility; the referrer earns a bonus when a qualified meeting takes place between DirectShifts and a decision-maker at that facility.
The DirectShifts Referral Program (“Program”) is open to individuals legally authorized to work in the United States.
Referrers must be registered users of DirectShifts or verified healthcare professionals.
Referrers must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws when participating in the Program.
A referral qualifies only when all of the following are true:
New organization. The referred facility has not previously been in contact with, or contracted by, DirectShifts.
Qualifying decision-maker. The referred contact holds one of the qualifying titles listed in Section 3 and has authority over staffing, workforce, or clinical operations.
Not the referrer's own employer. The referrer is not currently employed by, contracted with, or otherwise affiliated with the referred facility (see Section 6).
One per facility. A facility may be referred only once. If multiple people refer the same facility, the first valid referral received is credited.
Only the following titles qualify a referral. A contact whose title is not on this list does not qualify, regardless of seniority or function:
Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Vice President, Workforce Operations
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Vice President, Clinical Operations
A “Qualified Meeting” is a scheduled meeting between DirectShifts and the referred facility at which at least one qualifying decision-maker (Section 3) is present.
The meeting may be an initial discovery call or a formal call — the format is flexible — provided a qualifying decision-maker attends.
A call that does not include a qualifying decision-maker does not count, even if it is scheduled or takes place.
Referrers are eligible for a bonus of up to $400 for each Qualified Meeting completed with a referred clinic, hospital, or health system.
The exact amount is determined by the type and size of the referred organization.
The bonus is earned only after the Qualified Meeting has taken place and has been verified and confirmed by the DirectShifts team. Scheduling a meeting does not, by itself, trigger a payout.
There is no limit to the number of facilities a participant may refer.
Referrers active on the DirectShifts roster are paid through the DirectShifts payment system, per the platform's standard payout schedule.
Referrers not on the DirectShifts roster are paid by gift card.
Participants must comply with all applicable laws, including anti-kickback and referral-fee regulations.
Referrers must not make referrals that create a conflict of interest or violate their employer's policies.
DirectShifts reserves the right to reject or void any referral that appears to violate legal or ethical standards.
DirectShifts may modify, suspend, or terminate this Program at any time, without prior notice; changes take effect on posting.
Bonuses are payable only for qualifying referrals made before the date of any termination or modification.
All decisions by DirectShifts regarding eligibility, qualification, and payout are final and binding.
DirectShifts is not responsible for technical issues, lost submissions, or system errors affecting the referral process.
By submitting a referral, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

The DirectShifts Licensing Referral Program rewards eligible participants for referring new clinicians who purchase DirectShifts Licensing Services.
Referral bonuses are paid per state included in the referred clinician's first eligible licensing order.

Payment for the licensing order has been successfully received.
DirectShifts has initiated or confirmed processing of the licensing order.
Referral rewards will not be paid for:
Cancelled orders

Licensing orders that do not meet the program eligibility requirements
Participants may not refer themselves or create multiple accounts to receive referral rewards. Any self-referrals or attempts to manipulate the program may result in disqualification and forfeiture of rewards.
DirectShifts reserves the right to review all referrals for suspected fraud, abuse, or misuse of the program. DirectShifts may withhold, deny, or revoke referral rewards if activity is determined to violate these Terms & Conditions or applicable laws.
DirectShifts reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Licensing Referral Program at any time without prior notice.
