There was a time that I was a certified case manager (CCM), I let that expire due to cost. I also most recently was wound care certified (WCC) again as a single mom of two children the cost was too much to recertify. And i let it go.
I still love both of those fields and now as an AGPCNP, so many of my of my patients with wounds benefit from having up to date wound care knowledge.
Medicine is changing at lighting speed only way to stay current is through additional specializations and certification. My opinion!

My ADHD provider verification from PESI. I learned so much about myself and neurodivergence and completely changed my stance on self disclosure. I used to rarely use it, regardless of a diagnosis, but all of my ND clients appreciate it! I learned I wasn't as neuro-affirming as I thought!
